当地时间2023年10月18日上午，“开放创新·合作共赢”投资上海·全球行系列活动（美国纽约站）在纽约洛克菲勒中心隆重举行。活动旨在向全球优秀企业展示上海近年来产业经济领域所取得的巨大成就，进一步探索上海与外资企业在关键产业领域的合作潜力，并吸引更多美资企业将目光投向上海，促成双方互利共赢。上海市人民政府副秘书长王为人，中国驻纽约总领馆总领事黄屏出席并致辞。纽约市市长特别顾问、亚裔事务主任郑祺蓉代表纽约市长致欢迎辞。百余家美资企业参会。
上海是中国对外开放水平最高、经济发展实力最强的城市之一，也是推动中美经贸合作的重要地区。目前，约有5000余家美资企业扎根上海、深耕中国，特斯拉、通用汽车、辉瑞、强生、3M、陶氏、默克、霍尼韦尔等大批企业成为中国和上海经济社会发展的重要见证者、参与者和推动者。王为人表示，上海将持续深化高水平对外开放，推进高质量发展，欢迎美资企业加大在沪投资布局力度，实现合作共赢。
黄屏表示，上海是中国的金融中心和贸易中心，真诚希望美国商界抓住机遇，增强在华投资发展信心，与中国、与上海建立更为紧密的经贸联系。
“上海一直以来都是国际化和创新化的楷模，而此次活动为美资企业提供了与这座充满活力的城市合作的珍贵机会。”铁狮门公司董事总经理EB Kelly强调，铁狮门作为上海全球招商合作伙伴，将为推动上海与美资企业共同创新发展作出贡献。
推介环节上，上海市投资促进服务中心副主任张为作“投资上海”主题推介，展现上海产业基础、空间资源、创新生态等方面的突出优势。上海市浦东新区科技和经济委员会副主任王纲作浦东新区主题推介，浦东有世界级的金融中心、航运枢纽和科学城，正在打造成为全球企业千帆竞发的热土。上海市黄浦区投资促进办公室副主任陈瑶作黄浦区主题推介，作为上海的心脏、窗口和名片，黄浦诚邀全球企业家、投资者相聚黄浦，共享“明日产业”发展机遇。安进全球事务总监Jasper MacSlarrow分享企业扎根黄浦的发展历程和经验心得。中国银行纽约分行副行长乔磊在金融助力企业出海方面分享了独到见解。
会后，铁狮门公司首席执行官徐瑞柏与上海访美代表团一行会面。
本次活动由上海市投资促进工作领导小组办公室指导，上海市投资促进服务中心、上海市浦东新区科技和经济委员会以及上海市黄浦区投资促进办公室联合主办，上海全球招商合作伙伴代表铁狮门公司和中国银行支持，创意双城协办。
