联合国在4月2日世界提高自闭症意识日呼吁人们认识到并赞扬自闭症患者对社会做出的多种多样的贡献。
联合国秘书长古特雷斯在为这一国际日发表的致辞中表示，值此世界提高对自闭症认识日之际，我们赞颂自闭症患者的贡献，并重申决心促进他们的固有权利。
